The State Key Laboratory of Enterprises is an important part of the national technological innovation system. Its main task is to meet the needs of the future development of the society and the industry, carry out applied basic research and pre-competitive common technical research, research and formulate international standards, national and industrial standards, and Cultivate outstanding talents, lead and drive technological advancement in the industry.
In order to further improve the layout of the State Key Laboratory, the Ministry of Science and Technology launched the third batch of national key laboratories in 2014. According to the results of the experts' review and comments, the review was approved by the Ministry of Science and Technology, and it is now decided to approve the construction of 75 laboratories such as the “National Key Laboratory for Research and Comprehensive Utilization of Rare Earth Resources†of Baiyun Obo (see the list attached).
In accordance with the regulations and requirements of the “Interim Measures for the Management of State Key Laboratories for the Construction of Enterprises†(Guo Ke Fa Ji [2012] No. 716), please implement relevant policies and construction funds, organize relevant units to condense the development goals of the laboratory, and clarify the major Research directions and priorities, organize scientific research teams, introduce and train outstanding talents, improve and upgrade experimental research conditions, establish "open, flow, unite, and compete" operating mechanisms and carry out the construction of key national laboratories.
