Malaysian International Furniture Fair (MIFF) today announced Muar Furniture Merchants Association (MFA) - Malaysia's premier reached an agreement furniture industry organizations to form strategic alliances.

Starting in 2013, MFA will only exhibit at MIFF, which will prompt MIFF to reach another largest stage since its establishment in 1995. Hosted by UBM Asia, MIFF is the premier furniture trade show in Southeast Asia .

This is the first time MFA has made such a commitment to the outside world. Muar has more than 500 furniture manufacturing industry, and there are eight companies listed on its Malaysian furniture exports accounted for 45% of total furniture exports

The participation of Muar furniture manufacturers will further strengthen MIFF's position as Malaysia's largest and world-renowned solid wood furniture trading platform.

MIFF 2013 will be held at the Prince Edward World Trade Center (PWTC) and the Foreign Trade Promotion Bureau Convention and Exhibition Center (MECC) on March 5-9.

Through this cooperation with MFA, the total area of ​​MIFF exhibitions will increase by nearly 25%, including the "Mu Pavilion" specially set up for MFA exhibitors. Buyers can look forward to negotiating with more than 100 exhibitors at MECC next year.

A total of 433 exhibitors at MIFF 2012 attracted 20,000 visitors, including 6,605 overseas buyers from 140 countries and regions around the world. On-site turnover increased by 7%, setting a sales record of US $ 830 million.
