In 1998, the National Science and Technology Commission Achievements Office and China Welding Association jointly held a gasoline cutting machine application promotion meeting, and listed the synergistic propane gas “Kaiteng” gas imported from abroad as the first batch of key promotion projects, etc. After years of hard work, the popularization and promotion of new industrial gas in China has made important achievements.

Since the 1970s, some developed countries in the world have begun to replace acetylene gas with new industrial gas of alkylene olefins. In the mid-1980s, the use rate of new industrial gas in developed countries such as the United States, Britain and Japan has reached 50-70. In the 1990s, the United States reached 85%. By contrast, the popularity of new industrial gas in China has fallen behind the United States for nearly 30 years. Therefore, starting from the actual situation in China, replacing acetylene gas with new industrial gas technology, developing and promoting gas-cutting processing methods of safety, environmental protection, high efficiency and energy saving, wide fuel supply, stable application technology and easy operation and use, it is imperative to eliminate acetylene pollution. .
