Process processing based on PROE/CAM interactive graphics programming (3)

The process parameters are detailed in the PROE/CAM process:

(1) After entering the PROE/NC module, select the model you just created as the reference model.

(2) Create the workpiece (Note: This is the outer dimensions of the workpiece must be the same as the external dimensions of the part, it should be no need to machine the top surface).

(3) Enter the machine operation settings, including the machine's rapid feed setting (1000mm/min), tool change time (2s), machining zero setting (center of the workpiece), retract plane (15mm along the z-axis)

(4) Select the processing method (volume processing), set the 40mm ball milling cutter parameters (diameter 40mm, length 200mm, corner radius 20mm) for elliptical spherical processing, and set the manufacturing parameters in detail, including: working speed 500mm/s , the back eating knife volume 3mm, span 20mm, rough machining allowance 1mm, retracting knife height 5mm; scanning type: spiral; spindle speed: 1500r / min.

(5) Select the position to be machined (create the volume) Select the elliptical sphere we want to process as the volume.

(6) The system automatically calculates the tool path and can observe the simulation.

(7) Post-processing, output the G code of the processing of this paragraph.

After the elliptical spherical roughing, we rough-process the Φ160mm hole and the four elliptical holes respectively. The machining methods are all volume processing. The machining tools are Φ40mm end mill and Φ20mm end mill, and other process parameters can be unchanged. Not detailed here. Finishing is performed after roughing the workpiece. The finishing method is basically the same as the roughing, except that the machining allowance is set to zero. Finally, by simulating the above process, we can visually observe the process. After confirmation, the program is used for on-site processing.

Above we talked about the process processing problems in interactive graphics programming, and used PROE/CAM to simulate the examples in the text. I hope to give readers some guidance and inspiration.
