With the rapid development of China's economy and the continuous improvement of people's quality of life, natural stone products are increasingly used in high-end decoration such as interior and exterior walls and floors of buildings, especially in recent years, real estate and home improvement industries have warmed up in recent years. As well as the construction of large-scale key projects such as high-speed rail, subway and airport, the use of natural stone has increased greatly, which has made China's stone industry prosper.
China is a large country with large stone resources and a large consumer country. It is rich in mineral resources. The unique stone varieties are diverse and widely distributed. In 2009, China implemented the GB/T17670-2008 "Natural Stone Uniform Numbering" standard, and uniformly defined 908 kinds of natural stone varieties, including 253 kinds of common imported stone varieties on the market. There are as many as 1,500 kinds of stone materials used in the stone industry, and new products are constantly being developed, utilized and promoted.
As early as 1998, China Stone Industry Association and National Building Materials Industry Stone Quality Monitoring Center combined with the advantages of China's stone resources, mining, processing and market application of stone materials at the time, selected 83 "Chinese famous stone varieties", in order to realize China The development strategy of stone industry adjustment, structural optimization, product quality and grade has played an important guiding role.
In order to further standardize and guide the scientific and rational development and utilization of China's stone resources, promote the development of stone enterprises from processing brands to product brands, further expand domestic and foreign markets, enhance product awareness and competitiveness, build an expanded influence for enterprises and improve products. The well-known service platform, China Stone Industry Association and National Building Materials Industry Stone Quality Supervision, Inspection and Testing Center decided to carry out the promotion activities of “National Famous, Excellent and Special Stone Varieties†in 2010 nationwide.

Third, the conditions of application
1. The country of origin is China;
2. The output of stone varieties is stable, and the annual production of blocks is above 5000m3 (the valuable variety is 3000m3);
2. The stone variety has the following characteristics:
a) The product has a high reputation and production and sales in the market;
b) The products have outstanding performance in exporting foreign exchange;
c) physical and chemical properties have obvious advantages;
d) It has significant color or pattern characteristics, and there is no significant difference in flower color stability.
3. The variety should have the uniform number and name of the GB/T17670-2008 standard. New varieties not included in the standard should have the record name and number.
Fourth, the reporting requirements
1. Enterprises that declare "national name, excellent, special stone varieties" must be registered in the country according to law, and the declared varieties should be mine products independently mined by the enterprise;
2. Areas belonging to regional and declared varieties of mining and production enterprises may be unified and coordinated by the city, county, or township (town) stone development management committee or stone association (commercial) association to study and determine the most powerful and mining in the region. The declaration of the scale of the enterprise, or by the local government, the Stone Management Committee, the Stone Association (business) will declare;
3. The applicable varieties should have corresponding application engineering examples.
V. Application and assessment procedures
1. Voluntary declaration by the enterprise or unit;
2. Fill in the "National Name, Excellent, Special Stone Variety Declaration Form" in duplicate;
3. Submit the following relevant materials and send them along with the declaration form to China Stone Industry Association or National Building Materials Industry Stone Quality Supervision, Inspection and Testing Center:
1 Introduction to stone varieties;
2 Business license and copy of registered trademark (no registered trademark may be provided);
3 A copy of the mining license, the local government or the association shall declare the mining license of the mine for more than two mining enterprises in the region.
4 copies of physical and chemical test reports and rock and mineral analysis reports;
5 Provide an electronic version of the project case with instructions;
6 Provide 2 pieces of polished samples of 200mm × 200mm × 10 ~ 20mm stone varieties.
4. The organizer will organize the relevant experts to review the application materials after the summary of the application materials, and publicize them in the relevant media after comprehensive evaluation.
5. The “National Famous, Excellent and Special Stone Varieties†that have been examined, publicized and finally recognized are jointly published by the China Stone Industry Association and the National Building Materials Industry Stone Quality Supervision, Inspection and Testing Center, and certificates and cards are issued.
6. Organize activities and promote and publicize the society through relevant media.
6. Management of “National Famous, Excellent and Special Stone Varietiesâ€
The famous special varieties are valid for three years and are subject to review. Those who still meet the above requirements can continue to enjoy the title of famous special varieties, and those who fail will cancel the title of “National Famous, Excellent, Special Stone Varietyâ€. Within the effective period, all varieties with significant depletion of resources, shrinking production, and significant changes in the color of the material will be disqualified from the title of “National Famous, Excellent, Special Stone Varietyâ€.
Seven, the cost
1. The selection and evaluation fees will not be charged for this selection activity.
2, need to focus on the promotion of the selected varieties, pay relevant media publicity, press conferences and other related expenses of 5,800 yuan.
