Sherex’s Jake Glaser Awarded Young Fastener Professional of the Year

Jake Glaser from Sherex Fastening Solutions is set to receive the prestigious Young Fastener Professional of the Year award at the International Fastener Expo (IFE) Awards Ceremony on September 10th. The ceremony will take place at the Expo Session Stage, where the best in the fastener industry gather to celebrate excellence.
This award recognizes exceptional contributions to the fastener industry and honors individuals who showcase outstanding leadership, innovation, and dedication. As IFE Show Director Morgan Wilson noted in a press release on fastenershows.com, "Jake personifies the future of the fastener industry." His passion, ingenuity, and leadership make him a standout figure in the field. Jake follows in the footsteps of Sherex President Adam Pratt, who won the same award back in 2017.
Jake's journey began after graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from the University at Buffalo. He joined Sherex in 2014 and swiftly climbed the ranks to become a regional sales manager for the Western U.S., focusing on heavy truck and eMobility applications. Today, he continues to excel in this role, managing both national and international accounts.
Beyond his professional achievements, Jake has been an active participant in the fastener community. He has been involved with organizations like Pac-West and NFDA, and has also served as president of the Young Fasteners Professionals from 2019 to 2022. Since 2022, he has been part of the NFDA Board of Directors.
Adam Pratt expressed pride in Jake's accomplishments, saying, "It’s been really great to see him grow in this industry."
Jake currently resides in Colorado, where he enjoys outdoor activities such as volleyball, camping, snowboarding, and spending time with his dog, King.
