How to use plastic bag silage

Silage using plastic bags is an effective method to address the shortage of feed during off-seasons, ensuring a continuous supply of fresh and nutritious feed for livestock and poultry. This technique is not only simple and cost-effective but also highly practical for farmers looking to preserve green fodder efficiently. 1. **Plastic Bag Production**: To begin, non-toxic polyethylene plastic film should be used, with a thickness of at least 0.08 mm. Thinner films are prone to tearing and are unsuitable for long-term storage. The bags should be made into pockets measuring 1.2 meters in length and 0.8 meters in width. It's important that the seams are tightly sealed, sturdy, and durable to prevent air from entering and compromising the silage quality. 2. **Timely Harvesting of Green Fodder**: Green feed should be harvested at the optimal time—legumes at the early flowering stage, grasses at the heading stage, and tuber crops during their peak growth period. Once harvested, the feed must be processed quickly. First, clean the feed and disinfect it if necessary. Then, cut it into small pieces, about 1 cm in length, before preparing it for silage. It’s crucial to keep the raw materials fresh to avoid spoilage. The moisture content should be around 60%. If the feed is too dry, add some high-moisture green feed or spray water to adjust it. For overly wet feed, drying it or mixing it with drier material can help achieve the right balance. 3. **Bagging and Sealing**: After chopping, the green fodder is placed into the plastic bags. Start by filling the corners of the bag with a small amount of feed, then layer the rest, pressing each layer firmly to remove air. However, avoid excessive pressure that might damage the plastic. When the bag is about 80% full, tie the mouth tightly with a rope to ensure an airtight seal. It's recommended to store legume-based feeds together with grass-based feeds rich in sugar to enhance nutritional value. After packing, place the bags in a dry and well-ventilated area. Regular inspections are necessary to prevent animals or pests from damaging the bags. Any punctures should be repaired immediately with tape, and severely damaged bags should be replaced. 4. **Using the Silage Feed**: After about 20 days of fermentation, the silage is ready for use. Before feeding, open the bag and assess it by sight and smell. Good silage should have a sour odor, a yellowish-green color, and a firm texture with intact stems and leaves. If the smell is foul, the color is dark or muddy, the silage has spoiled and should not be fed to animals. Properly fermented silage is suitable for feeding livestock and poultry. A typical daily ration for adult animals includes about 1 kg for sheep, 15 kg for cattle, and 8 kg for horses. Poultry can also be given silage in moderation. However, pregnant animals should not be fed silage to avoid the risk of abortion. Frozen silage should be thawed before use to ensure its safety and effectiveness.

Vibrator Roller

road roller, also known as a compaction, is a kind of equipment for building roads.
Road roller belongs to the category of road equipment in construction machinery, widely used in high-grade highways, railways, airport runways, dams, stadiums and other large-scale engineering projects fill compaction operations, can roll sandy, semi-cohesive and cohesive soil, subgrade stabilized soil and asphalt concrete pavement layer, roller with the gravity of the machine itself, suitable for all kinds of compaction operations, so that the rolled layer produces permanent deformation and compacting.
