Air respirator wearing method

The RHZK series of positive pressure fire air breathing apparatus (commonly referred to as air respirators) is a self-contained, positive-pressure breathing system designed for use in high-risk environments. It is widely utilized across various industries such as firefighting, chemical processing, shipbuilding, petroleum, metallurgy, mining, and transportation. This equipment serves as essential personal protective gear for firefighters or trained personnel, offering critical respiratory protection when operating in hazardous areas filled with smoke, gas, or low oxygen levels during fire suppression, emergency rescue, and other critical operations. When wearing an air respirator, start by disconnecting the quick connector to avoid any potential damage to the full-face mask during the process. Next, place the air respirator behind your back, ensuring the cylinder valve is positioned at the bottom. Adjust the shoulder straps and waist belt according to your body size for optimal comfort and fit. After that, connect the quick connector securely and lock it in place. Keep the full-face mask on your chest so it's easily accessible when needed. Before starting, make sure the supply valve’s inlet is closed, then open the cylinder valve and check the pressure gauge to estimate how long the air supply will last. Next, put on the full-face mask without securing the straps yet. Take 2–3 deep breaths to ensure comfort. When you inhale or exhale, the supply valve should stop delivering air, and there should be no "click" sound. If everything feels normal, adjust the head strap so that the mask fits snugly against your forehead and face without causing discomfort. Avoid over-tightening the straps; the mask should feel comfortable and not cause any pressure points. Once properly sealed and airtight, take a deep breath, and the supply valve should automatically open to provide air. After use, loosen the full-face mask strap, separate the helmet from the mask, and carefully remove the mask from your head. Close the supply valve’s inlet and take off the air respirator from your body. Finally, close the cylinder valve to ensure safety. The company specializes in manufacturing a wide range of safety equipment, including fire-fighting chemical suits, air respirators, firefighter gear, heat-resistant clothing, insulated life jackets, foam guns, fire cannons, escape devices, advanced oil wastewater separation systems, modern domestic sewage treatment units, life jackets, and life buoys. All products are designed to meet the highest standards of safety and performance in emergency situations.
