Physical anti-rust pigments, such as iron oxide red, are known for their chemical stability, hardness, and fine particle size, which help improve the density of the paint film and reduce its permeability. This makes them effective in preventing rust. Another example is aluminum powder, which has a flaky structure that helps create a tight coating film. Additionally, it reflects ultraviolet light, enhancing the aging resistance of the painted surface.
