The following is a three-part introduction, which is the choice of structural form, geometry and position of the rivet point:
1. There are two types of rivet structure: the first one is a close-packed type, that is, the iron cores that are stacked and riveted do not need to be re-pressurized outside the mold, and the mold can achieve the bonding force of the iron core rivet. The second type is a semi-closed type. There is a gap between the iron core sheets which have been riveted when the mold is taken out, and it is necessary to repressurize to ensure the bonding force.
2. The geometry of the iron core riveting point is:
(a) Cylindrical rivet points for a closed structure of iron cores;
(b) V-stacked rivet points, which are characterized by a high joint strength between the core sheets, and are suitable for the closed structure and the semi-closed structure of the iron core;
(c) L-shaped rivet point, the shape of the rivet point is generally used for the skew rivet of the rotor core of the AC motor, and is suitable for the dense structure of the iron core;
(d) A trapezoidal rivet point having a trapezoidal shape and a long trapezoidal rivet structure, both of which are suitable for the dense structure of the iron core.
3. The position of the rivet point should be determined according to the geometry of the punch: considering the electromagnetic performance and the requirements of the motor, the position of the punch and the die insert of the rivet point should be considered on the mold. The strength of the material punch corresponding to the position of the rivet jack hole from the edge. The distribution of the rivet points on the iron core should be symmetrical and uniform. The number and size of the rivet points should be determined according to the required bonding force between the core sheets, and the manufacturing process of the mold must be taken into consideration.
