Teijin Group of Japan announced that its subsidiary Toho Nexus Co., Ltd., which operates carbon fiber and its composite materials business, and Teijin Aramid Trading (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., which operates aramid fiber business, will participate in the 20th China International Composites Industry Technology Exhibition. The conference (Shanghai, September 3 - 5) exhibited the company's latest fiber technology and products.

Among them, Toho Tenex will present TENAX TPCL, a carbon fiber-reinforced thermoplastic resin sheet for Airbus' latest passenger aircraft A350XWB, and introduces the company's latest thermoplastic carbon fiber composite (CFRTP) technology. In addition, CFRTP molded products such as competitive bicycle wheels made of ultra-lightweight carbon fibers, and carbon fiber products for pressure vessels with a large market potential will be exhibited.

Teijin Aramid Trading (Shanghai) will exhibit two dark black filament yarns Twaron Black and Technora Black. These high-modulus para-aramid fibers have only produced yellow products in the past. Dark black filament yarns are suitable for applications requiring rigidity, high strength, and light weight aesthetics such as for sailing equipment, hockey sticks and motorcycle helmets. At the same time, other uses of aramid composites, such as geogrids, pressure vessels, and insulated tie rods, will also be demonstrated.
