Jacto launches a new sprayer
Brazilian agricultural machinery manufacturer Jacto has introduced a new sprayer. The Jacto Uniport 3030 sprayer is powered by Cummins' 181 kW QSB 6.7 diesel engine for use in cotton and grain farms. The sprayer was developed on the basis of Jacto's Uniport 3000 NPK product, while Uniport 3000 NPK was used to spray granular fertilizer in sugar cane fields. Wanderson Tosta, product planning manager at Jacto, said: "The new machine has 15 spray routes at 0.9 m intervals, allowing for fertilization or use of guide plates in specific areas. Compared to sugar cane sprayers, this product has a narrower tire." In addition to new product launches, Jacto celebrated the 35th anniversary of the so-called "World's First Coffee Bean Harvester." The anniversary was founded in 1979 by Jacto. Jacto said: "The development of this machine has had a huge impact on the world coffee culture, making Brazil one of the largest coffee producers."
