Explosion-proof air conditioning structure and engineering principle

Explosion-proof air conditioner is a kind of explosion-proof electrical equipment, which is mainly used for refrigeration and heating of flammable and explosive environments such as petroleum, chemical industry, oil depot, and offshore oil platform. The appearance and usage of explosion-proof air conditioner is the same as that of ordinary air conditioners. Explosion-proof air conditioners are divided into high temperature, low temperature, special high temperature, and special low temperature according to the working environment.

Air inlet: The air in the room is inhaled and dust is removed through the air filter.
Outlet: The conditioned air blows out.
Drain pipe: The humidity of the room drains through the condenser to generate small water droplets.
Connecting pipe: The indoor unit and the outdoor unit are connected by a copper pipe, and the refrigerant circulates.
Outdoor unit: The outdoor unit is composed of compressor, fan, heat exchanger, capillary (electronic expansion valve) and other electrical components.

When the heat pump type air conditioner operates in the cooling mode, the three-way valve commutates to turn on the various components. At this time, the indoor heat exchanger becomes an evaporator, and the outdoor heat exchanger becomes a condenser. Low-temperature and low-pressure superheat gas from the indoor heat exchanger enters the gas-liquid separator through the four-way valve and the muffler. After the liquid is separated, the hot gas is sucked into the compressor and compressed into high-temperature and high-pressure gas. The gas passes through the four-way valve and enters the outdoor heat exchanger to radiate heat and condense, becoming supercooled liquid. After the supercooled liquid is depressurized by the capillary resistance, it becomes a low-temperature, low-pressure, two-phase fluid. It enters the indoor heat exchanger to evaporate and absorb heat (at this time, the indoor air is cooled). Once again, the four-way valve and the gas-liquid separator enter the next cycle: the filter It is mainly used for the separation of refrigerant and compressor oil to ensure the heat exchange efficiency of the heat exchanger.
When the heat pump type air conditioner operates in a heating condition, the four-way valve commutates to turn on the dashed line in the figure. At this time, the indoor heat exchanger becomes a condenser and the outdoor heat exchanger becomes an evaporator. The low-temperature and low-pressure superheated gas from the outdoor heat exchanger enters the gas-liquid separator through the four-way valve and the muffler. After the liquid is separated, the dry superheated gas is sucked by the compressor and compressed into high-temperature and high-pressure gas. The gas enters through the four-way valve. The indoor heat exchanger radiates heat and condenses (in this case, the indoor air is heated). Become a supercooled liquid, supercooled liquid becomes a low-temperature and low-pressure two-phase fluid after decompression by capillary resistance. It enters the outdoor heat exchanger to evaporate and absorb heat, and then the superheated gas enters the next cycle through the four-way valve and the gas-liquid separator. In order to prevent the indoor comfort from defrosting due to defrosting during heating, a hot gas bypass is used to continuously defrost the heat. When defrosting, the operating principle is basically the same as heating, except that the defrosting solenoid valve is opened. Some of the high-temperature and high-pressure superheated gas coming out of the compressor is diverted to the entrance of the outdoor heat exchanger, rapidly increasing the temperature of the outdoor heat exchanger to over 0°C, melting the frost layer on the outdoor heat exchanger, and making the heat exchange The device maintains good heat exchange efficiency.
Explosion-proof air conditioners are based on ordinary air conditioners, and explosion protection is performed on electrical systems, including compressors, fans, and electrical lines. The control line adopts the electrical system with the optocoupler solid state relay as the core to carry out the whole explosion protection. The original function of the original air conditioner is maintained, the structure is simplified, the operation is simplified, and the equipment can be used safely in a mixed gas environment.
