The Three Principles of Radiation Protection

3. Dose limits define the maximum allowable exposure for individuals, acting as a safety boundary. Even if a practice is justified and optimized, these limits ensure that no individual is exposed to harmful levels of radiation. They serve as an essential safeguard in radiation protection strategies.
